We offer ground shipping for all of our orders. Shipping is a flat fee of $7.95 to anywhere in the United States. Shipping is free for any orders over $59.00.

We have multiple options to make sure your gifts arrive in time for the holidays:

USPS Ground Advantage — Order by 12pm Dec 16th. Cost is a flat $7.95 on orders under $59 and is free for orders over $59.

Priority Shipping (1-3 day shipping)
USPS Priority Mail — Order by 12pm Dec 18th. Cost is a flat $10.95 on orders under $59 and is free for orders over $59.

Expedited Shipping (2 day shipping)
UPS 2nd Day Air — Order by 12pm Dec 20th. Cost and availability is provided dynamically at checkout. Note that if you don't see this option, it means Priority Shipping is faster!

Good quality coffee has a lot of benefits, such as high levels of protective antioxidants. Coffee also gives you that amazing jolt of energy and supports motivation and focus. A drawback of coffee consumption is that excess coffee can put the nervous and hormonal systems into a constant state of stress. This is why we've paired our high quality antioxidant-rich coffee WITH medicinal mushrooms. The mushrooms we've used in our blends all have amazing unique benefits and they're all adaptogens. Adaptogens help one's body better adapt to stress and they balance our bodies! Our mushrooms are actually working behind the scenes to create homeostasis in the body, and to ensure that we continue on our day feeling great, without the jitters or caffeine crash!

All mushrooms serve a function, either as nourishment or as part of the ecosystem. Functional mushrooms are mushrooms with specific benefits to health. Functional mushrooms have studied benefits in the body. Most of these mushrooms work best as part of your daily routine. They contain beneficial polysaccharides, known as beta-glucans, and many contain beneficial triterpenes as well. Each functional mushroom has a slightly different set of actions in the body. In addition, they are antioxidants, adaptogens, and balance the body and the immune system. 

Mushrooms are food and should generally be considered safe for kids. Of course, all of our products contain coffee or tea, so please keep that in mind as you consider who you share your Wunderground with.

Mushrooms are food and have been consumed as both food and as medicine for many millennia. That being said, mushrooms are extremely safe in very high amounts, even in amounts 10 times higher than what is found in one of our servings! 

The fruiting body is the actual mushroom. This is the typical structure that protrudes above ground, which is the actual mushroom, and where the most beneficial compounds live. Many companies use mycelium roots grown on other substrates like rice or grain, and the actual mushroom doesn’t even have a chance to form. They are then ground up with the grain and powderized, and therefore your mushroom supplement ends up being more starch than mushroom. There’s nothing wrong with mycelium...mycelium is amazing for the soil, the plants and for our world. But the fruiting body is what contains the most beneficial compounds for humans!

Some mushrooms do well with a hot water extract, which offers a plethora of beneficial polysaccharides, such as beta glucans. Others, in addition to the beta glucans, have beneficial compounds known as triterpenes, and these are best made available with an alcohol extract. The term dual extract means that the mushroom has been extracted using hot water as well as using alcohol. Our Chaga and Reishi mushrooms are both hot water and alcohol extracted, therefore making both water and fat-soluble constituents available. Our Lion's Mane and Cordyceps mushrooms are extracted via hot water. 

Our coffees and teas are predominantly just that - coffee and tea! Because we use highly concentrated mushroom extracts, we are able to get you all of those great mushroom benefits by adding just a little bit of extract to each serving.

This is one of our top questions that customers have. We utilize a proprietary method that uses a small amount of MCT Oil to support mushroom extract infusion. Adding MCT oil to coffee has grown in popularity over the years for its clean energy and wellness benefits and we find adding just a little provides a great friendly medium for our extracts without having to roast our coffees too dark

We use what’s called a Universal Grind, which is a medium-coarse grind that works well with popular brew formats like French Press, Pour-Over, and Drip coffee. We offer whole bean coffee as well, if you want to have more control over your coffee grind.

Nope, not at all! While the mushroom concentrates themselves can be earthy and bitter, we take pride in the fact that our products are meticulously formulated to address this; resulting in super smooth, flavorful beverages that consistently receive praise for great taste. No muddy flavor here.

Yes! We carefully source and roast the coffee used in our ground and instant products and blend in high concentrate mushroom extracts.

We are thrilled to feature Japanese artist Kimiaki Yaegashi on our packaging. We love Kimiaki Yaegashi’s wunder-inspiring work and felt his approach was the perfect embodiment of creative exploration. As he describes them, “They are my treasures.” Ours, too. The bio from his socials:  The professional career began in 1998. In 2013, the first book "NIPPON CLIPART" was published by BNN, Inc. And the first solo exhibition "OCTAGON" was held in Berlin, Germany as part of Pictoplasma Festival in 2014. The works are being used for publication, website, fashion, etc, in various countries.
